Canadians recognize Remembrance Day, originally called Armistice Day, every 11 November at 11 a.m. It marks the end of hostilities during the First World War and an opportunity to recall all those who have served in the nation’s defense.

The Salmon Arm service starts at 10:45am at 141 Hudson St. NW.

The District of Sicamous service starts at 10:45 at 322 Main Street.

The City of Enderby service starts at 10:45 at the Centotaph at Mill Ave and Belvedere Street

Sorrento service starts at 10:45 at Sorrento Community Hall on Passchendaele Road.

Please take a moment this November 11th, to be thankful for our country, for our blessings, and those who died, so that we may live.
